SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY
1. Introduction
Langland Bay Golf Club Ltd. is committed to fostering a respectful, inclusive,
and welcoming environment for all members, staff, and visitors. This policy sets
out expectations for conduct, including the appropriate use of social media and other
communication platforms, to ensure that all individuals associated with the Club are
treated with dignity and respect.
2. Appropriate Conduct
All members, guests, and staff are expected to:
• Conduct themselves in a respectful and courteous manner at all times, both on and
off the course.
• Uphold the reputation and integrity of Langland Bay Golf Club.
• Treat fellow members, guests, and staff with respect and avoid any form of
harassment, bullying, or discrimination.
• Confidential or sensitive Club information must remain confidential and not be
disclosed.
• Adhere to the Club’s Byelaws and Guidance, ensuring a positive experience for all.
3. Social Media Use
The Club recognises the importance of social media in modern communication
but expects all members and staff to use such platforms responsibly. The following
guidelines apply:
• Members and staff must not post or share content that is disrespectful, offensive,
defamatory, or damaging to the Club, its staff, or other members.
• Any grievances or concerns should be addressed through the appropriate Club
channels, not via public social media platforms.
• Confidential or sensitive Club information must not be disclosed in any online
platform.
• Members should refrain from making negative or misleading comments about the
Club, its policies, or individuals associated with it.
